Itineris goes for Gold with Microsoft for ERP
May 29, 2012
Deurle/Atlanta– May 29, 2012 – The North American operations of Itineris announced today that they have earned the enviable Microsoft Certified Gold Partner status for ERP. In addition to passing the required exams at the Microsoft Testing Center, they demonstrated superior capabilities and success with CIS implementations at several electric, gas and water utilities.
This most recent accreditation, earned only three months after Itineris expanded operations into North America through the acquisition of Crimson Oak Consulting, means that they are more prepared than ever to implement, service and support the North American utility industry according to Microsoft’s highest standards.
“We are very excited to achieve Gold partner certification for ERP in such a short time,” says John Beddingfield, President of North America for Itineris. “It acknowledges our commitment to offering utilities optimum service and technologies. Our people are now, more than ever, ready to deliver comprehensive solutions that leverage the Microsoft technology stack. We continue to serve utilities in a collaborative fashion to deliver UMAX – a proven, scalable and flexible CIS solution built on and certified for Microsoft Dynamics AX. UMAX provides our customers a refreshing alternative to the traditional CIS platforms that seem to have a strangle hold on the energy industry.”
The Value of being a Microsoft Gold Partner
Microsoft Gold Partners are the top level of Microsoft solutions partners. This gives them the knowledge, tools and resources to offer their clients with the highest level of technical expertise, strategic thinking and hands-on skills.
A recent study of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSEs) and their supervisors by Jack McKillip, Ph.D. at Southern Illinois University, rated Microsoft Certified Partners as highly effective workers on the job and IT supervisors rated MCSEs as more competent on all global dimensions as compared to non-certified systems engineers.
