EnecoIn the past, the structure of the IT architecture of Eneco Business looked like a patchwork quilt: applications for contract registration and billing ran side by side with a complex interface in between. An expensive solution.

Eneco Business switched to the UMAX vertical solution for utility companies, enabling the energy supplier to now automate and manage the entire chain from lead to order to cash.

The change driving Eneco Business’ switch to UMAX was the new Dutch market model, regulation requiring energy suppliers to take over the administrative role and processes of the grid operator. The impact on IT systems was wide-ranging.

Now, with the latest version of UMAX, Eneco can turn the challenges of the new regulatory model into market opportunities.
