Itineris attracts senior talent to further grow its business in the UK & Ireland
February 9, 2022
Itineris, a fast-growing technology company that develops and implements innovative software solutions for Utilities, is pleased to welcome Adam Walker and Ian Smith to its team. They will support the company in realizing its ambitious growth plans in the UK and Ireland.
Meet Adam
Adam Walker is a Utilities veteran, with many years of experience in the industry, including leadership roles in scaling businesses. He has worked for several UK Utilities, among which EDF and Good Energy, in a wide variety of commercial roles. At Itineris, Adam will take on the role of UK & Ireland Growth Leader. He will focus on both the water and energy sector.
“I have experienced first hand how important technology can be to achieve operational efficiency and provide outstanding customer experiences. This has become more important than ever given the unprecedented challenges our sector is currently facing. Just think about the transition to Net-Zero, the rising customer demands, and exploiting emerging digital technologies. A lot of Utilities in the UK and Ireland are still working with legacy software that is not flexible enough to meet these challenges. That is what I like so much about the Itineris solution UMAX: it has a modern architecture and provides a configurable and flexible user experience. This allows Utilities to be creative and innovative.”

“What appealed to me most about Itineris is its disruptive technology and the entrepreneurial spirit. I am really impressed with the way the company interacts with its customers. Customer centricity is clearly embedded in the DNA of the company. Given Itineris’ long-standing focus on Utilities, the company is well respected globally as a technology powerhouse for its developments in the Energy sector. Its software solutions are constantly evolving to meet the changing demands of the sector and its customers. That makes it even more rewarding to be part of this team.”
