Stories from young graduates that joined us last year

“When talking to Catherine from the Talent Acquisition team, I immediately felt a good click. To me, Itineris was also the perfect size: not too big, to the point it gets impersonal, and not too small either. I wanted to get into a structured work environment, where you know more or less what is expected from you. On top of that, the Itineris software solution, UMAX, sparked my interest. I had never seen software specifically designed for utilities before, and I was very curious to learn more about it”

Anthony James,
Technical Consultant, Itineris

Anthony James, Technical Consultant at Itineris

“The atmosphere at Itineris is really great: everyone is friendly and there is always room for an informal chat at the coffee machine. We also regularly go out for lunch or dinner together with the team, which helps to get to know your colleagues in a different way.”

Jana Surmont,
Functional Analyst, Itineris

“We have a very open company culture. Itineris really wants you to grow and they encourage change. It’s not like you are stuck in one position. The company always wants to give the best opportunities to employees.”

Hanne Van Geystelen,
Functional Analyst, Itineris

Itineris in a nutshell

  • Itineris is a software company headquartered in Ghent (Belgium) and Atlanta (North America).

  • We develop software solutions for water and energy utilities. We also provide implementation services to integrate the solutions into the business environment of our customers, and we offer the required support services afterwards.

  • We are active in both regulated and deregulated or competitive markets, and we have clients in Belgium (De Watergroep), the Netherlands (Eneco, PZEM, …), France (EDF, Greenyellow, …), UK (SSE, …), Ireland (Flogas), and North America (The New York Department of Environmental Protection, Boston Water and Sewer Commission, …).

UMAX in a nutshell

  • UMAX is the brand name of our set of software solutions. Our cloud solutions are built on Microsoft technology and 100% tailored to the needs of water and energy utilities.

  • UMAX allows those companies to automate their business processes. It provides Customer Relationship Management (CRM), billing, invoicing, cash collection, meter data, asset, and service management. It also includes a Self-Service Portal, allowing utility customers to view and pay their bill, update account information, and communicate with the utility.

  • UMAX also has Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. This way utilities can e.g. detect water or energy consumption patterns to proactively inform their customers.
