Itineris strengthens Leadership Team to drive global growth and innovation

Cedric Proot appointed Managing Director of UMAX and Namgyal Basi Global Director of Technology

Itineris, a global leader in innovative SaaS solutions for utilities, is strengthening its Leadership Team to accelerate its growth and drive the next wave of innovation in the industry. As part of this, Cedric Proot has been appointed Managing Director of UMAX, overseeing the business globally, and Namgyal Basi takes on the role of Global Director of Technology.

Since 2023, Cedric has been leading Itineris’ European operations. In his new role as Managing Director of UMAX, he will also team up with Hans Dekeyser, General Manager for Itineris North America, to further strengthen the company’s presence in the U.S. market.

Additionally, Namgyal Basi, who joined Itineris in 2023, will take on the role of Global Director of Technology. In this role, he will shape the company’s technology strategy to support business growth and evolving market needs.

These leadership changes enable Edgard Vermeersch, CEO and Founder of Itineris, to focus on long–term strategy and stakeholder engagement as the company evolves into a global category leader in solutions for the utilities industry.

A seasoned leader within Itineris, Cedric Proot has been with the company since 2012, holding multiple roles that have given him a deep understanding of UMAX and the evolving needs of the utility industry.

Namgyal Basi joined Itineris in 2023 as a Customer Success Director, leading the company’s largest implementation project in Europe to date. Through this experience, he gained in-depth knowledge of our technology stack, making him exceptionally well-suited to guide its future development.
