September 2, 2020
This underlines our ambition to further accelerate our growth
We are pleased to announce that Bart Vermeulen joins the Itineris Management Team in the newly created function of VP Strategic Alliances.
Bart brings in more than 2 decades of experience in various executive roles in technology companies. He co-founded UnifiedPost – a cloud platform for document, identity and payment services for SMEs – where he helped growing the company from a start-up to a successful scale-up with a solid business model. He also managed the growth of CogniStreamer – an open innovation and collaboration software platform – which was acquired by EY in 2017.
At Itineris, Bart will be responsible for leading the global strategic alliances of the company – with a strong focus on the partnership with Microsoft.
Commenting on the appointment, Edgard Vermeersch, CEO of Itineris said:
“I am very excited that Bart joins our company. He brings in a wealth of experience in successfully growing SaaS companies, and we really look forward to benefiting from his insights in our strategic growth plans. Bart will play an important role in maximizing our partnership with Microsoft, that recently ranked us in the top 1% of their global network of Business Application partners. Sharing our strategy with Microsoft’s senior leadership team and better understanding their product roadmap, will undoubtedly help us to achieve our ambition to make UMAX the platform of choice for utility companies and to continue our fast growth.”
Bart Vermeulen comments:
“I am very happy to join the Itineris team! From what I learned so far, I’m impressed by the solutions, the people and the overall drive in the company to deliver maximum value for our customers. That’s also one of the reasons why Itineris recently achieved the prestigious Inner Circle award from Microsoft. UMAX is clearly the solution of choice for utilities. I look forward to strengthening this position even further and to leveraging our relationship with Microsoft. While doing so, I will gladly share my experience in building SaaS solutions with the team.”
Today, utilities are faced with an increasing number of customers who struggle to pay their energy or water bill. Now more than ever, you must adopt a proactive, digital approach to managing customers in debt.
