Eneco After eight years focusing on the corporate market, Eneco België N.V. (Eneco) wanted to enter the Belgian retail market with a fully green alternative energy product in response to increasing demand for renewable energy and greater choice from Belgian residential customers. Eneco België N.V., part of the Dutch Eneco group, also set a goal to become the leading energy player in Belgium by 2015, distributing 100-percent renewable electricity and natural gas produced in Belgium.

To help reach this lofty goal at the customer-facing level, Eneco also decided to differentiate itself from competitors by serving customers personally and directly without the use automated response machines.

To turn these promises into reality, Eneco was looking for an efficient IT solution that supported these new business activities and customer base. After a thorough study of the market, Eneco selected UMAX.
