2016: A year of milestones
Itineris joins Microsoft’s Global Independent Software Vendor (ISV) program, an elite sub-group of technology partners that help Microsoft shape strategic direction and increase product value in their respective industries.
City of Baltimore, Dept. of Public Works goes live on UMAX, becoming the first live UMAX client in North America.
Eneco and Delta become first clients on SaaS version of UMAX.
First client in France as Save chooses UMAX.

2015: Growth
Dakota Electric Association, the second-largest electric cooperative in Minnesota, selects UMAX to modernize and streamline its customer service and revenue technology and processes.
Itineris secures $10M follow-on funding round from investors.

2014: IBM and UMAX in North America
City of Baltimore selects UMAX solutions to replace its legacy CIS and improve billing and customer care, strengthening Itineris’ growing footprint in the North American utilities market.

2013: Gimv invests & more awards
Itineris’ project manager Karen De Smet is elected “Young ICT Lady of the Year 2013” by leading IT magazine Datanews.
Gartner favorably positions UMAX in its Magic Quadrant report for utility customer information systems (CIS).

2012: North America
UMAX achieves Microsoft Dynamics AX certification after meeting stringent alignment requirements.
Awarded “Most Promising Company of the Year” by Ernst & Young and the Flemish Government for outstanding past performance and future growth potential.
Nominated as a finalist in TechTour, a Venture Capitalist forum.

2011: PMV invests & UMAX emerges
Itineris re-brands its solutions portfolio as UMAX in connection with international expansion plans and update to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
Itineris succeeds in delivering the first ever UMAX & AX2012 implementation in the world at Eneco Belgium.
Global framework agreement with E.ON begins.
Itineris and Capgemini begin global alliance partnership for the implementation of the UMAX solution.


2010: Microsoft relationship deepens
Joins Microsoft TAP (Technology Adoption Program), providing Itineris and our customers early access (six to eight months) to releases of Microsoft Dynamics AX major versions.

2009: Building on successes
CEO and founder Edgard Vermeersch is named “Leader of Tomorrow” by BIZZ magazine.
Building on success in the “home market,” Itineris begins strategic consideration of and preparation for expansion into new global markets.

2008: Maturation & early recognition
Certification as Microsoft Gold Partner for ERP achieved.
Double digit growth leads to a Trends Gazellen award in 2008 by the Belgian financial press.

2003: Beginnings
European energy markets undergo liberalization (deregulation), opening the door for Itineris to provide modern solutions for this new market.
